El que sí sap és que “l’art és mirar el mateix amb una mirada diferent”.
Diu Cabré que durant el primer capítol d’un llibre l’escriptor planteja un contracte al lector. Allà tota la trama i l’estil insinuat, i el lector atr...apat, o no.
Jo confesso et porta, et transporta, et remena, et confon, t’arrossega pels temps i els espais. Indescriptible.
Diu Jaume Cabré que va trigar 8 anys a escriure-la. Diu que durant el seu procés creatiu no crea l’ “edifici”, el cos de la novel•la a la seva ment i després l’escriu. Diu que si primer imaginés la novel•la ja no tindria sentit escriure-la.
Ell es documenta, escriu històries, les enllaça i modifica i així és com els personatges el sorprenen i prenen vida pròpia.
Fantàstica la proposta de la conferència-col.loqui dels veïns al Centre Cívic Turó de Sant Pau.
Confesso que m’estimo aquesta ciutat tan viva, que viu sola, al marge de qui fracassa administrant-la.
